Recommendations for Oaxaca, Mexico!
I spent a month in Oaxaca, MX in April - May, 2023 and I absolutely fell in love with the city! It’s beautiful, with so much going on, delicious food, and extremely nice people. Below is a quick list of recommendations that will hopefully help you start planning your trip to this colonial town.

Zocalo (plaza with live performances, good for people watching)
La Cosecha Organic Market (yummy food)
Barrio de Jalatlaco (cute neighborhood right outside of the center)
Bazar Alcala 100 (artsy fair)
Monte Alban (archaeological site outside of town -- can take taxi, bus or shuttle)
Hierve de Agua (natural spring outside of town)
Museo de los pintores Oaxaquenos (free - not super worth it)
