What better to spend a weekend in Belgium than drinking Belgium beer? I discovered my favorite type of beer: Fruit Beer - specifically Sour Cherry Beer (Mort Subite Lambic Beer)! It tasted like juice, soooooo yummy.

There are two types of beers that are specific to Belgium:

1. Trappist Beers: beers brewed in a Trappist monastery where the monks is in charge of the production and policies. The profits from the sale must be used to support the monastery or cancer research.
2. Lambic Beer: a wheat beer brewed in the southwest of Brussels by spontaneous fermentation; aged up to 3 year. By using this type of beer, fruit flavoring is added to create fruit beers.
