California Poppy Bloom

Following rain storms in California is the the bloom of the state’s flower, the Poppy. The beautiful, delicate flower filled acres of land with a sea of orange, mixed with yellow and purple at Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve. I had the pleasure of taking a drive from LA early morning to see what are the fuss was about. Due to the shelter-in-place mandate, I had thought that we wouldn’t be able to get that close to see them but we were lucky and caught sight of them. It is definitely worth the drive!
