First crazy encounter working at the hostel

First crazy encounter working at the hostel

So my position at the hostel is pretty chill. Since I work the overnight shift, not much goes on and I'm mostly by myself doing simple tasks such as checking bathrooms and doing laundry. I'm allowed to bring my laptop to watch Netflix, read, etc. Most nights have been very quiet except for last night (Saturday night).

It started out like any other night until this guy storms into the hostel. Mine you, the doors are locked at this time so he only got in when someone went out. He reeked of alcohol and had a death look locked on me. The first thing he screams was "Fuck, I fucking lost my passport and my phone won't work. FUCK!" He throws his luggage on the floor and starts punching it. I'm alone at this point and was starting to get pretty scared so I texted my boss about what was happening. The guy asked for a place to stay because he was kicked out of the last one since they called the police. I apologized and told him we were all booked.

He sits on our couch and starts pounding the table and cussing in his language (I think). He continues to punch his bag, throws his phone, and makes a scene in the main area. Good and bad that no one else was there to witness this. I called a few local hostels to see if anyone could take him in but everyone was booked. Then he asks to use my phone to call him mom in Thailand, FUCKING THAILAND from Spain. Excuse me do you know how expensive those calls are?? I tell him this and yells "All you Spaniards are so cheap!!" Well if you haven't noticed, I'm not Spanish... lol I told him he had to leave and his last words were "I fucking hate this place I'm gonna sleep outside your hostel." Okay you do that...

At the end of my shift, my boss comes and told me that he actually got kicked out of our other hostel. He apparently came back drunk and couldn't find his suitcases so he demanding everyone in his room to find it in 30 minutes or else he would punch them. He punched the wall and bed, which he broke. So my boss had to call the cops and make him leave. Then he came back during breakfast and tried to check in under a different name... Nice try bro you can change your name but not what you look like.

That was a lot of excitement and now we're back to the old routine.
